Annual Meeting
Invitation
The International Society of Blood Purification is pleased to extend you an invitation to participate in the Annual Meeting that will take place on September 24-26, 2010 in the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Marina del Rey, California.
The ISBP 2010 has gathered a superb faculty to present the latest and most pertinent issues in understanding and managing renal disease in the chronic setting and in the critically ill patient.
Highlights include the state of the art in emerging strategies for the management of ESRD patients such as home and daily dialysis, cardiovascular disease and endothelial dysfunction with specific attention to specific factor that have been shown to play a role in the unacceptably high mortality of ESRD patients. Phosphate toxicity, impact of blocking PTH receptors and anemia will be evaluated on their pertinence to improving outcomes.
The meeting will also place special emphasis on controversial problems in critical care nephrology, such as the use of continuous convective therapies, and a debate on the controversial issue of dialysis dose in acute kidney injury.
Specific interest will be devoted to the growing problem of the morbidity and mortality of Congestive Heart Failure and the role of the cardiorenal syndrome. Also, particular attention will be dedicated to practical problems in peritoneal dialysis, catheter technology and catheter related infection.
As its overall objective this conference will attempt to bring to the participants the cutting edge scientific information available today in each subject in the program.
Los Angeles in September is warm and welcoming. The venue on the waters of the Pacific will provide a unique environment for enjoying great science as well as the many attractions of Southern California.
14.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits ™ will be awarded by the UCLA office of Continued Medical Education.
Please join us in this "one of a kind experience" this year in the Marina del Rey Ritz Carlton.
