General Information
Target Audience
Consultants and specialists, nephrology trainees, and allied health care professionals, involved in providing renal replacement therapy and other forms of blood purification.
Objectives
Participants will become familiar with the latest developments in the science of blood purification and the management of renal failure.
Venue and Location
The conference will be held in the Sir William Wells Atrium and Peter Samuel Hall in the Royal Free Hospital, which is located in the heart of Hampstead, a lively and cosmopolitan area of north London. There is good public transport to the Royal Free via the Northern Line on the London Underground (Belsize Park station) and the Silverlink Metro rail service (Hampstead Heath station). Delegates are advised not to drive their own cars to the Royal Free as public parking is extremely limited (by residential permit or pay & display only).

Registration fee includes: access to all scientific sessions and poster exhibition, lunches and coffee breaks, Welcome Reception, Conference Dinner, and September 2004 issue of "Blood Purification".

Payment
Registration fee to be paid in £ sterling only, drawn on a UK bank or international bank draft, made payable to: "ROYAL FREE HAMPSTEAD NHS TRUST. The registration fee must be sent together with the registration form to the Conference Administrator.
Confirmation
Confirmation of registration and receipt of payment will be sent to delegates by the Conference Administrator. Only registered delegates may take part in the scientific sessions.
Delegates will receive the final conference programme and September 2004 issue of "Blood Purification" at the conference.
Cancellation
Notification of cancellations must be sent in writing to the Conference Administrator. Cancellations will be accepted until 3 August with a refund of all fees except for an administration fee of 30%. No refunds can be made for cancellations received on or after 3 August (substitutions of attendees can be made at any time); however these registrants will receive their conference material by post after the meeting. Refunds will be made after the meeting.
ACCOMMODATION
Rooms have been reserved at preferential rates at three hotels in Hampstead (within walking distance) and in Central London (Warren Street tube station on the London Underground Northern Line to Belsize Park tube station). Hotel reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis. All accommodation en suite. Room rates per day include breakfast, taxes, and service charge except where indicated.
Hotel Reservations
Reservations should be made on the official Registration Form and must be secured by either a £ sterling cheque drawn on a UK bank, an international bank draft in £ sterling, or reserved on a credit card. Reservations must be received by 3 August 2004, thereafter accommodation will be subject to availability.
Cancellation
Cancellations must be received in writing to the Conference Administrator before 3 August. Cancellations after 3 August will be charged in full. Substitutions of attendees can be made at any time. In the event of non-arrival, the hotel will release the reservation by 0900hrs the following day and the reservation is non-refundable.
POSTERS
Poster format and instructions for the preparation of the poster will be sent with the letter of acceptance at the beginning of July 2004
ISBP Prize
The Society will award one poster prize and two prizes for oral abstracts.
ACCREDITATION
Awarded 17 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits by the Royal College of Physicians of London.
CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE
An official Certificate of Attendance will be sent to all registered delegates after the meeting.
Insurance
Conference delegates are requested to make their own arrangements for medical, travel, and personal insurance

- Attend the Conference Dinner on Saturday 4 September
- Receive a ticket to the sightseeing tour of London on Friday 3 September (seating capacity 50)
